Bushwick Print Lab Best Printer Award

Recipient of Bushwick Print Lab's "Best Printer Ever" Award, 2018

Todd Irwin is an artist who works in several facets of production including design, printmaking, and sculpture. His work incorporates a bold graphic quality with playful social commentary and an affinity for the printed multiple. He had a father who worked in specialty advertising and an uncle who printed cue cards for the television industry—both were major influences. Having learned to screenprint in commercial t-shirt shops, Todd went on to print with artists in Chicago's gigposter scene and alongside notable artists in New York City. He exhibits his own work on a regular basis and has been in print exchanges and group shows in New York, Chicago, and Mumbai. He recently founded Bitmap Press a small print studio focused on producing artist editions and commissioned work. Todd is also the co-creator of the semi-annual silkscreen publication Power Washer Zine.
